Babies, Toddlers and Preschoolers

5.10 Blooming 1000 Books Play with me! Reading the Rainbow Sign Up starts June 1st.

Welcome to the Community Library of Allegheny Valley – a place where young minds grow, learn, and thrive!

We offer a variety of programs and services designed specifically for toddlers and preschool-aged children to inspire a love of reading, learning, and creativity.

Programs We Offer:

  • Storytime Adventures: Engage your little one in stories, songs, and fingerplays that build literacy and social skills in a fun and interactive way.
  • Toddle Time: Get ready to wiggle, dance, and sing! This program helps children develop coordination and a sense of rhythm.
  • Crafts in the Library: Stop by the library any time we are open and make a fun craft with your child. Craft projects are provided daily in the children’s area of the library.

Additional Services:

  • Early Literacy Resources: Browse our curated collection of books, activity kits, and educational tools to use at home.
  • Parent Support: Find helpful resources, including parenting books, educational guides, and connections to local services.
  • Discovery Spaces: Visit our child-friendly play areas equipped with interactive toys and games to encourage imaginative play.
  • 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten: Join our reading challenge to inspire a lifelong love of reading in your child.

Why Join Us?
Our programs foster early literacy, creativity, and social development while building connections with other families in the community. All sessions are free and open to the public.
