Yarn friends is going virtual!
Email Tanya at [email protected] for the Zoom invitation!
Calling all yarn lovers! Bring your projects and come to the library to swap ideas, chat, and receive help and support from fellow yarn enthusiasts. No experience necessary.
Yarn Friends meet from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on the fourth Monday of the month, unless otherwise noted.
This group is intended for knitters and crocheters of any level; from beginner to advanced knowledge levels. All ages are welcome – group members would be happy to help young knitters and crocheters with their projects. “Newbies” are welcome – we’ll teach the basics!
Basic materials needed are:
- 1-skein Red Heart Super Saver Yarn
- Size 6mm knitting needles or Size J crochet hook
Update:
Our library is currently closed until further notice, but that doesn’t mean you can’t keep crocheting and knitting! Our yarn friends group is currently working on blankets for Project Linus! Anyone can join in and participate. The requirements for the blankets can be found here. We encourage you to come on this journey with us. We may not be able to meet in person right now, but we are certainly together in spirit.
